"We are all born with a unique genetic blueprint, which lays out the basic characteristics of our personality as well as our physical health and appearance... And yet, we all know that life experiences do change us". Joan D. Vinge
My story
Over the years I’ve developed a love of Homeopathy as it has supported me through pregnancies, miscarriages and births, low moods, hormonal issues, shock and grief. All of the family have received homeopathy for various minor ailments. These include teething, colic, knocks, scrapes, falls and emotional ordeals such as upset from a new teacher or classroom, moving house, or death of a relative or pet. I never cease to be amazed by the gentle balance and healing that Homeopathy brings.
Inspired by the effect of Homeopathy, I decided to train to become a Homeopath.
My training and experience
I am a registered, insured member of the Society of Homeopaths and follow their Code of Ethics and Practice. I regularly attend courses and workshops to further my learning and development to stay up to date on advances in homeopathy and health topics.
I love the evolving wisdom that my children give me as a parent. Faced with their own physical and emotional milestones they require my own constantly developing skills (and patience) as their Mum. I am passionate about Homeopathy and love that this system of medicine can bring natural healing in the body without side effects.

I love
…being outside – there is nothing better than a blustery walk along the beach, I love that feeling of the cobwebs being blown away.
…my little dog who brings enthusiasm to every day, unless it’s very wet, then puddles are not fun with such short legs!
…family life. Yes, with three children it can get busy, even frantic and rather chaotic at times… but I love the passion and joy that my children bring to every day.
…cooking and trying new things. My family are definitely not such enthusiasts of my experiments, but I’ll continue in the hope that one day I’ll find a new favourite for them too!
…clean sheets, the smell of fresh mown grass or the stillness after a heavy fall of rain.
…chocolate! Yes, I have a guilty pleasure… but it must be very dark chocolate.

Testimonials
“My mother put me in touch with Kate just before I was due to have an elective C section. I was feeling quite nervous about the operation and quite tense as we were also in the middle of moving house. I spoke with Kate who was very understanding and reassuring and looked at my whole situation holistically. She prescribed me some medication to help me feel calm pre-operatively and a different one to help with healing post the c section. My recovery was very fast and I’m pretty sure the medications contributed to this. I contacted Kate again once I had the baby to assist with my baby who was struggling with some digestive issues. She sent me over some medications for him and also put me in touch with an osteopath at Apotheca, who did treatment on me and my son and both was excellent. Kate was incredibly attentive and responded very quickly to contacting her and sent out the treatments very quickly. I really appreciated her help and advice, would highly recommend! ” AD and FD July ’17
“I approached Kate for help with our 14 year old daughter who was suffering with glandular fever, hepatitis and then ME. Kate’s professionalism, combined with her knowledge, empathy and ability to delve deep into our daughter’s history meant she got straight to work building our daughter’s immune system and generally improving her physical strength. Within a few months, she went from being bed bound to attending school part time. Kate was with us all the way on this demanding journey, supporting her recovery holistically. She always gave us her time, wisdom and expertise willingly. I am quite sure we would not be where we are today without her essential input.” SL Jan ’17
